Hello friends today I present this gift shop located in a building characteristic of the Alpujarra. A few weeks ago we made a trip to Granada and from there we move to this charming village in the Alpujarras, Pampaneira, is a town that I love for its unique architecture, this store is an example. Hope you like.

Pampaneira is a Spanish municipality belongs to the province of Granada. It is located in the ravine of Poqueira, in west-central part of the Granada Alpujarra, about 66 km from the provincial capital. It borders the municipalities of Bubión, Capileira, La Taha, Orgiva, Carataunas and Soportújar. Much of the municipality belongs to the Sierra Nevada National Park and Historic Joint Poqueira Ravine.

When the Kingdom of Granada surrendered to Ferdinand and Isabella, many residents took refuge in the Alpujarras and continued for almost eighty years with their customs, religion and language. Were the Moors from Granada, who endured in their rugged mountains, until Don John of Austria, special envoy of King Philip II, ended the violent war existed.

The subsequent depopulation was complete and had to repopulate the land with Castilian Alpujarras, but especially Galicia and Leon, in an edict of 1487 was said that this noble participate in the War of Granada get redemption for their crimes. It was, therefore, a pressing invitation made to nobles and their servants to leave Galicia and to enroll in the campaign, and so hicieron.1 is why the names of many places in the area-Capileira, Poqueira, Ferreira , Xumpaneira and Pampaneira, for example-are reminiscent of Galicia.

Nice capture of this fascinating souvenier shop with all the typical elements of similar shop's throughout the Mediterranean world.

Un bel endroit pour essayer des vêtements. Même un miroir est installé dans le but de faire un bon choix .La lumière difficile est très bien maîtrisée.

Pampameira es una de los lugares que tengo marcados para visitar, tiene algo especial...y sus alrededores tienen también buenos motivos para la fotografía...Me gusta que reflejas aquí una escena cotidiana, llena de color, llena de tranquilidad. excelentes texturas y muy buen color!!

Hola Ángel,
por las bonitas sombras podemos deducir el ángulo de la luz solar, y que esta toma no era fácil precisamente por este pequeño inconveniente.
Pero conseguiste un magnífico resultado, en una imagen muy bien contrastada, con una luminosidad especial y unos colores brillantes.
Me gusta el grafismo y el colorido de los artículos en venta en esta tienda al aire libre, y la vitalidad que añade la señora y su reflejo en el espejo.
Bien vista, y bien realizada composición.

My wife would fall in love with this place Angel, if there's one thing she loves more than anything it would be clothes and you've captured this place perfectly. I hope my wife isn't viewing this one, or I will be soon buying tickets to Spain.....ha ha.
