Another picture from the Granada's hidden gem from my last post. It seems still that noone was there. You shouldn't miss it when you come to Granada next time. I was surprised and delighted. I hope you like Venus going to bath in a swimming pool in patio.
I like also the black and white cropped version from Workshop, but unfortunately there is this massive pillar in the midle. Why I haven't moved a bit to the left?? I do not know, maybe there was someone there?

Sixty seven views but no critiques so far, very strange; it would seem that many members are on holiday or otherwise absent. I like the composition and, more particularly, the calm and serene atmosphere. The column with statue stands well in silhouette against the light walls of the surrounding buildings. It serves to give the image depth and acts as a pointer toward the sculpture of Venus. Good light management and excellent clarity.

Beautiful Granada courtyard, pool classical statues, ancient architecture surrounding, and a very impressive base relief stone carving on the upper wall.
I like your monochrome version, for the lighter contrast and perhaps just the feel.
Thanks for sharing,

To be honest, I don't find the huge pillar a negative here, it works well to draw the eye upwards towards the fine stepped layers of the building above, whole down below all these fine statues. I like this result a lot and the dark pillar stands out great against the white finish of the building.
Thanks as always
