One of the characteristic elements of La Alpujarra`s popular architecture is the "tinao". It is a space by which the house "embraces" the street arriving to turn the urban outside a full framework of labyrinths, mysteries, terraces, windows and patios. "tinao" acts the as to protect of the inclemencies of the weather: in winter of rain and snow, and in summer it is a cooling shading place to alleviate the heat.
We can see in this image three butane bottles , that is the main fuel of many Spanish towns. The bottles normally are distributed by trucks. I do not know as trucks can enter these streets. Mistery?
Here more information (in spanish) about La Alpujarra´s popular architecture.
------
Due to great contrast, I have used selection tools to clarify the bottles, that were very dark and they did not allow to appreciate the color of the same ones well.
