Las Alpujarras is a mountainous district in Southern Spain, which stretches south from the Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada in the autonomous region of Andalucia.
Pampaneira (closest in this photo), Bubion (up right) and Capileira (up left) are the Alpujarras most beautiful villages.
There are few points where you can get all three villages in one shot with the benefit of Sierra Nevada in the further background. |

We visited the same places almost in the same dates (coincidence !) ...Definitively Pampaneira and Capileira are the most appealing Alpujarras villages for my liking and in a clear day is really amazing to feel yourself so close to the real ceiling of Spain mainland : Mulhacen peak with its 3478 mts and also Veleta peak both cutting away the blue horizon with its whiteness ...If you once visit the North of Morocco you will realise how many Capileiras and Pampaneiras clonned villages there are ...
Hi Mariusz,
Very beautiful view and a composition very well chosen with this diagonal very attractive.
Thanks for sharing,
