Photographer's Note

I wanted to see the old Sinagoga in Cordoba and I walked around in Juderia, the old Jewish quarter. By chance I visited a delightful place - Casa Andalusi - Andalusian house. It is a small museum that shows how Moorish Andalusians lived in the middle ages. The house was constructed in the 12th century and has objects from the Moorish past. In its rooms and patios one can see collections of old coins. There is an exhibit of how Arabs made paper, with one of the oldest machines to make paper. The basement shows archaeological remains. There is also a Roman mosaic.
I was also fascinated by the mysterious woman there dressed in a long white dress. I was a bit shy to ask her for a photo, but she kindly agreed to have a photo with me . I would prefer the photo without this fat lady in green :) but nice anyway. Lady in white and lady in green
If you ever go to Cordoba, do not miss it. It is magical place, with very mysterious atmosphere, enhanced with beautiful music and the sound of fountain. Hear it here: www.lacasaandalusi.com (push play music)
