Photographer’s Note

This is the final of my pueblo blanco (white towns) photos but this is different. This is a photo from the hill top pueblo blanco of Arcos de la Frontera.
A river curves around the right hand side and then across to the left (only intermittently visible in the photo) below the high ground.
The big feature is all the orange orchards over the river.
A fascinating feature of the area below the town, (although not really visible in the photo) for an Australian, was the number of eucalypt trees - from the size of them they must have been there for a hundred years or more. In fact we were quite struck by the numbers of them all over both Andalusia and parts of Morocco.
