Hola queridos amigos de TE,

Digamos que el título viene, porque al ver la foto se me ocurrió un naufragó en el desierto, y pide socorro al ver el barco desde lo lejos... que pensais?? jaja
Un año más tarde, vuelvo a la preciosa Tarifa, el viento soplaba a solo 11 km por la mañana, con viento variable y por la tarde en calma, dias de los pocos en Tarifa, con tan poco viendo y un día esplendido!.

Estamos en Punta Paloma (en la playa de Valdevaqueros, es la que se ve al fondo) es un enclave perteneciente a la provincia de Cádiz (España), situado a 10 km de la ciudad de Tarifa, en la costa de Poniente. Respondiendo al topónimo de Punta Paloma se encuentra en la misma zona una playa, una torre de vigía y una batería de costa.

Se extiende al pie de una gran duna que se va formando con ayuda de los vientos de levante que arrastran la arena de la playa hacia poniente. El arenal es de grano fino y dorado. El oleaje es moderado. Las edificaciones son de tipo rústico sin dañar demasiado el paisaje. Consta de servicios necesarios como camping, aparcamientos y Cruz Roja.

Las condiciones que presenta esta playa son óptimas para los deportes de vela, kitesurf y windsurf, siendo en el presente uno de los lugares reconocidos a escala mundial para practicarlos. Es también una buena playa para veraneantes. Más al oeste de esta playa, se encuentran otras muy pequeñas y aisladas donde se practica el nudismo. Desde Punta Paloma se puede visualizar claramente las africanas costas de Marruecos.

One year later, I return to the precious Tarifa, the wind was blowing to only 11 km in the morning, with changeable wind and in the evening in calmness, days of the few ones in Tarifa, with so little seeing and a splendid day!.

Punta Paloma (in the beach of Valdevaqueros, she is the one that is seen the bottom) is an enclave pertaining to the province of Cadiz (Spain), located to 10 km of the city of Tarifa, in the coast of the West. Responding to the place-name of End Dove one is in the same zone a beach, an observation tower and a coastal artillery battery.

One extends on the foot of a great dune that is formed with the help of the East winds which they drag the sand of the beach towards the west. The sandy ground is of fine and golden grain. The surge is moderate. The constructions are of rustic type without damaging too much the landscape. It consists of necessary services like camping, parkings and the Red Cross.

The conditions that this beach presents/displays are optimal for the sports of candle, kitesurf and windsurf, being in present the one of the places recognized world-wide scale to practice them. It is also a good beach for veraneantes. More to the west of this beach, are very small and isolate others where nudismo practices. From End Dove it is possible to be clearly visualized the African coasts of Morocco.
