Hi Kari, we're now in Spain I see. You could never be accused of giving us the same thing every day. This is a unique composition and the image is pin-sharp. Just looking at it makes me want to go down the beach and dip my feet in. Congratulations, Lisa. PS: I'd love to know how you got away with photographing this girl's lovely legs without getting slapped :))))

Hello Kari! Such a wonderful happy feeling photo, full of vacation, full of sand :))) Yes it is wonderful to walk or run at the beach, playing with the waves if they get you and make little screams and jumps if they do so. Excellent capture, spontaneous and totally cute. Best regards, Barbara.

Carinissima e spiritosa immagine. Fresca e piena di energia. La sabbia non è certo bianca coma la nostra, ma questo è solo un dettaglio di chi ha un mare migliore.

Hi Kari,
I can't explain exactly why, but the thumbnail of this one attracted my attention irresistibly. Its simplicity is striking, but very effective. And it's so evocative of pleasant things like youth, simple pleasures of life like walking on the beach like you say in the note enjoying the fresh air and a wonderful sun... Really inspiring!

so you're back into feet clicking ;o) (the other one i remember being the sleeping tatood feet in the train ;o) and ...
indeed, sand under my feet, sounds of sea all around and light breeze in my hair, truly lovely feelings.

it's a nice moment with nice lighting and good sharpness, but why the square crop? To me the square shape encloses the scene too much - I would like to see more space either at the bottom (as a lead-in to the feet) or on the left (to allow space for the feet to metaphorically move into).
