Hello friends and colleagues, today I present a view of the bottom of the street Ferret, the city of Medina Sidonia, a city of history, in the province of Cádiz, Andalusia, hope you like it, then some letters on city.
The city of Medina Sidonia is a Spanish municipality located in the center of the province of Cádiz, Andalusia. It belongs to the district of La Janda. It is historical-artistic and Well of Cultural Interest The mountain on which it is located is called the Cerro del Castillo, which is the highest elevation of the entire western third of the province, from the foothills of the Sierra de Cádiz to Atlantic coastline, which allows it to be spotted from a significant portion of the province, offering at the same time, the extraordinary panorama of the provincial area. The city is oriented towards the Bay of Cadiz, which is why it is known as the Balcony of the Bay. A small part of the municipality asidonense belongs to the Natural Park of the Acorns, one of the most valuable in terms of natural and scenic areas refers Andalusia. The term also hosts much of the route of the Green Corridor of the two bays, a greenway linking the Bay of Cadiz and Algeciras Bay. The first settlements in the area of which we have evidence, dating from the Late Bronze Age. Found in the Cerro de las Madres a lot of fragments of handmade ceramics and some stone tools. It seems that these people were related to the Tartessian culture. Then takes place the arrival of Phoenician colonists from Sidon, which will found a city (with the same name as their city of origin) on the basis of the earlier Indian occupation. In the third century. C. Romans occupy the whole mainland that was previously in the hands of the Carthaginians. Around the first century a new urban center will occupy the entire space of what is now the Historic be built. By Augusto César Award, the city promotes its previous municipal status and becomes a colony with Roman law (civitas optimo jure). She was known by the name of Asido, Caesarina or completely as Asido Caesarina Augusta. Was located in the Province Ulterior Baetica, belonging to the convent legal Hispalensis (with capital Hispalis). In the Visigoth Hispania was the provincial capital and episcopal see of the Catholic Church, then known as Asidona, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Seville which included the former Roman province of Andalusia in the diocese of Hispania. In 712 the city was conquered by Musa ibn Nusair, the Umayyad Caliphate usually at the beginning of the Muslim conquest of the Iberian peninsula. It was the capital of Muslim named Cora Cora Sidonia (also known as Arabic Saduna شذونة). Alfonso X the Wise reconquered the city September 22, 1264, occupying the border against the Moorish Kingdom of Granada, which is why it appears in a medieval document with the name "Frontier". In times of the Reconquista was home to several military orders. These include the Order of Santiago and the Order of Santa Maria. In 1440 became part of the Lordship of the Dukes of Medina Sidonia.

Une vue bien présentée de cette rue avec les façades traditionnelles en alignement, bonne gestion des contrastes de luminosité et de ces murs blancs fortement éclairés par le soleil.

very beautiful view of these narrow streets and again you managed to do so with no people! The architecture is very grand and gives a tempting glimpse into the style of this great place, and you caught lovely colors and light too.
thanks as always, have a great weekend

very well chosen POV to take picture of this quiet street. I very much like the perspective and the delicate angle at which the lane bends at the end. NIce format and well given proportions in framing. Good light management, natural colors and optimum sharpness.
Thanks for sharing

Cette photo donne envie de plonger dans cette très belle rue aux maisons blanches en ta compagnie. Ce doit être très chaud durant la saison estivale. Tellement blanc que cela en est presque bleu.

welcome back! Until you prepare your new collection of photos, here's another elegant composition showing an alley of the lovely, bright city. I like very much how you handled the downward perspective in the vertical frame, the vibrant impression you've created with the repetition of architectural patterns on the right, the balance offered by the shady part. The bright colours, especially the whites, are very attractive. The sky is so delightful and relaxing. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great weekend,

This must have been a difficult shot with such strength of sunlight on the white facades, but you controlled the light very effectively.
A well chosen viewpoint ensures that you have perfect control over the viewers; you have set their lead line, which is irresistible.

A splendid high pov and also a good downward pov with the descending street. Good repetition of the architectural patterns & shapes of s bygone era. I like the 3 areas where plants are growing, what looks like oleander at the top, the weed above the window at right & the clump of greenery from the pot plants at the end of the street. Tfs!
