Photographer's Note
Hello friends, over the summer, in southern Spain, we continue to enjoy our beaches in various ways, I walk a lot with my camera always ready, others enjoy a more dynamic leveraging the strength of Aeolus, as shown in this photo taken on the beach at Castilnovo, with the town of Conil in the background, I hope you enjoy the scene.
The beach is a beach Castilnovo virgin, wild looking where waves and wind have great strength to practice windsurfing.
Its area is 2600 meters by 180 meters wide. The average occupancy level is low. Isolated protected beach without waterfront, mainly composed of golden sand. The normal state of the sea is moderate swell.
Border with El Palmar in Vejer, this wild beach surrounding coastal defense tower of the same name, which for centuries has been a silent witness to the evolution of waves and history.
This country-style beach lies south of the town of Conil, in an area of difficult access, rural atmosphere of cows and sunflowers.
Castilnovo is a paradise for lovers of solitude and pristine beaches, with over 2 ½ miles, enough space to plant the umbrella lost and hundreds of meters following the deadly. Good conditions for surfing and fishing.
Conil de la Frontera (until 1981 simply Conil) is a Spanish municipality in the province of Cadiz, Andalusia. It is one of the most picturesque villages of the Costa de la Luz, with places of great ecological and historical. Its economy is based on fishing and tourism facility. That's why in summer its population reached 90,000 people.
Its geographical coordinates are 36 ° 16 'N, 6 ° 05' W. It is located at an altitude of 41 meters and 43 kilometers from the provincial capital, Cadiz.
Conil is situated on a coastal plain southwest of the province of Cadiz, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. Far from the capital about 43 kilometers. At its easternmost state dominates the plain, and its westernmost cliffs among which that of Roche. It is part of the region of La Janda.
Although human presence is found in prehistoric times, the town of Conil was founded in the time of the Phoenicians, who took advantage of going to sea in the area, creating their traps and fishing there. Already in Roman times acquired splendor and grandeur to be part of the Milky Herculean and unite the cities of Malaga and Cadiz. After the fall of the Roman Empire, Conil was sacked by the Visigoths, the Byzantines and Vandals until the arrival of the Muslims in 711, had to join the Cora of Sidonia.
No major news again have the municipality until 1265, year in which the municipality, due to the Reconquista Christian victories, rename the town, adding the place name of "border", as it did with other populations as Chiclana , Jerez or Arcos, because populations were part of the border between the Muslim lands of the Christians. In 1299, King Ferdinand IV granted Alonso Perez de Guzman was then the village Conil to repopulate and strengthened, contributing to their revival. It was at this time when the village was renamed Torre de Guzman, due to the tower, to defend the city in case of attack, built under his name.
Although epidemics of plague and other diseases that people suffered in later years, traps residents served as the basis of its economy. In the early sixteenth century village life is disrupted by disputes that occur between two noble families tremendously important area: that of Guzman and Ponce de Leon. Alongside this, the disputes between the nobles and villagers worsen the situation in the area, as they seemed to these second bad economic conditions to which they were forced to live. After all these problems, the following decades were paying off as the population and the production of the traps began to rise.
Seventeenth century was the golden age of the population, and which became economic enclave around. Already in the eighteenth century, the traps begin to decline, but by no means the economy begins to hold thanks to agriculture and livestock. In the middle of this century, a series of disputes due to the tax burden to which landowners and villagers again disturb the peace of Conil. These problems both territories and money are what makes people fall in the popularity of chopped, to which was added the Napoleonic occupation of the early nineteenth century. The people, who by then had a feeling those antisatately, Trustee Personero created a kind of ombudsman municipalities through which the area could meet the lords landowners. During the twentieth century, tourism, to a much lesser extent than at present, begins to take its toll on the town, because families sevillanas summer begin to march through the area to be medicinal water baths. Since the 60s, Conil tourism has boomed because of which this is the sector which has supported the village in recent years.

Hello Angel,
This is a very nice and well done shot. The sail is wlll placed in the image with it's long shadow and the distance on the sand gives deepness. The light is great with natural colors and very good sharpness.
Best regards

hello Angel

Amicalement

Hola Angel,
a very effective and appealing simple composition with amazing depth and wonderful light and colours. I like very much the shadow extending across the frame and how we can feel the gliding movement in this superbly clear and smooth ambiance. A very attractive image that makes you feel the power of the light and the wind and want to run inside the frame. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely Tuesday,

Hello Angel,
The simplicity of the composition appeals to me. The shadow of the sail of the sand buggy fills the space very well. Lovely colours and very sharp.
Excellent!

Hola Angel.
Luis.

Hello Angel.
Very lovely shot, such simple and minimalist composition, but very attractive and cheerful shot. I love the clear day, with gorgeous blue sky, open beach and space, the sail with white and red really contrast well against the blue sky and light brown sand. Love the long shadow of it too.
Thanks.

Josep

Hello Angel
I like the minimalist composition here. Great idea to include the shadow rather than concentrate on the main subject only. Beautiful blue colour in the sky.
Best wishes
