Photographer's Note

A nice view of the lighthouse of Chipiona at sunset, this simple seaside town, half and half dardener fisherwoman, is located west of the province of Càdiz, a few kilometers from the mouth of the Guadalquivir river, famous for being the birth place of the late singer Rocio Jurado.

Hello Angel,

There is a sharp contrast between the sunset colors on the lighthouse and wharf and the blue sky that is still in daylight, giving very nice colors all around. The scene looks quite peaceful around this giant. Maybe I would have shown a bit more of the water at right and cut on the the dark bushes at left, off-centering the lighthouse.

You had managed to include the whole and the pier in a fabulous evening last light, with the palm trees decorating this nice image.

Superb eveneing's light very well managed and composition well balalnced with the lighthouse which arise very well. The palmtrees give too avery pretty graphic effect.

Intenso contraluz con los ultimos rayos del sol iluminando el faro y las palmeras, que destacan sus elegantes siluetas, sobre ese cielo de un suave azul, con lo cual el contraste resulta ideal.

hay un fuerte juego de claroscuros en esta toma, gracias a la débil luz de la puesta de sol, y también unos fantásticos tonos cálidos en los colores que inundan todos los elementos de esta escena.
Has buscado un encuadre eficaz, y has obtenido un bonito resultado estético en la foto.
La gestión de la exposición acentúa la potencia visual de tu composición.

Hi Angel,

Lovely view of the lighthouse in warm and beautiful sunset colors. As for me I would have dropped the left part of your shot and included more of the sea on the right so that the lighthouse hadn't been placed so centrally. I think it would have made the picture more beautiful.

Hola Angel. O bonito farol ficou muito bem com as cores e a luz do por do sol. As cores estão bonitas, a luz bem captada e a definição ficou muito bem também. Gosto recorte do farol contra o bonito céu azul. Bom ponto de vista, belo trabalho.

Surely a most deserving subject and scenery. You chose well the hour of the day so to have these lovely warm and soft colours. I agree with Jacques: if you had moved the camera a bit to the right the composition would have been more harmonious and fine, cropping that unnecessary part at left.
