Cadiz is a port city in southwestern Spain. The main structure seen is Cadiz Cathedral, which is a Roman Catholic Church, built after 1722 taking about 116 years to construct. I explored the structure, even explored the deeper crypt beneath the church through a downward passage way, near the inside center of the church. The church contains many wonderful paintings. As with many churches in southern Europe … it was artistically wonderful. People put their hearts into their work reflecting a very rare and precious form of devoted faith. It is hard to image a life devoted to such perfection – but it is for us today, indeed for me, to witness first hand this inspired testament of creativity and love.
There is much power found in the hands that create such things.

I visited this town many years ago and can't forget its sunny mood. it was a very beautiful place with many curious monuments. here I liked the view of the cathedral emerging from the white houses around. excellent framing and quality of image.

Your Cadiz view draws attention to the impressive huge Church, with Romanesque and Moorish architecture influences. And I wish I also could visit the interior which must also be impressive.

Hi dear David
Ya this is another your signitured shot of prefcet framework via sharp but soft color touch. Great combination of modern and ancient architecture, that is your point / intention, I suppose.
All the best, Takero

I agree, Cadiz is a special place. I once lived there for some months, which I will never forget because I spent most of the time with horses. You lived in Thailand for 3 years, that's in a way short but it certainly gave you some insight into the kingdom.
Cadiz today has changed to a modern town, when I look at your shot. In 40 years things can change. Good light management, vibrant colour tones and high sharpness. Well done
