Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken back in '82 whilst on holiday in Spain - Roquetas de Mar. This unusual boat was in the middle of the harbour - with all its lights. Can anyone tell me why it has so many and what the purpose of this boat is in such a small harbour?
The image has been transferred from 35mm to digital, cropped and using PSP the mooring lines and bouys of the other boats have been removed using the clone tool.

Nice Picture Malcolm! I like the unusual character of this little boat. I wonder of maybe it was anchored to something hazardous to other boats and was acting as a sort of lighthouse? At anyrate, very nice image, and makes one ponder the reason of those lights which is a good thing. Thanks for submitting this. -David
