Photographer's Note
After posting a few experimental photos here is a pretty straightforward photo of some almost derelict wooden cottages by the beach in Almadraba de Monteleva in the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata, Almeria. They are opposite the row of cottages I posted yesterday. I presume they would have been used by fishermen, if not to live in for storage. The bench is in better condition than the buildings. I liked the textures, shapes and colour tones in the composition.

Hello Digby,
A fine study in dilapidation! Well composed with excellent rendering of the tones and textures. The little bench looks rather forlorn.

Unusual texture of a very well composed photograph. The three closed doors are each of different size and colour. None of them are cared for. The walls on the left has a coat of whit paint which is peeling. The walls on the right is bare. The crooked green bench leaning - with weak hinges stands on a stone slab that appears to have cracked .. The line of shadow at the top of the picture, over the three doors, is significant.
Age and Time withers all !
Thanks for sharing this beautiful photograph.
