One Night In Ljubljana, a photo from Osrednjeslovenska, West

Photographer's Note

This is a view of the "Tromostovje" (The Triple Bridge) and the Church "Franciskanska". The church is the pink building, on the left. It stands in front of the Presernov trg (Preseren square: Preseren is the major slovenian poet, he wrote the national anthem too). The famous castle is not visible, it would be on the very right of the picture. The river is the Ljubljanica. This shot was taken at the beginning of January, so the Christmas decorations are still visible.
The picture has been slightly postprocessed: some rotation (problems with the minitripod!), curves and NeatImage.

Very beautiful colours in a very beautiful city. This photo reminds me of my stay in Ljubljana. Now that Slovenia is part of the EU the city may have many more visitors which it richly deserves.

I really like the colors and details in the lights here! The dark areas are almost too dark, but for the contrast, this is a very pretty scene, and in the best of TE fashion, makes me want to see it in person. :o)

Credo proprio che mostrando questo genere di foto, molto di atmosfera, non avrò problemi di approccio. "Ti regalo questa stupenda e magica notte, Tesoro". Continua così Marko. Certo che in fine dei conti le Olympus non sono malaccio! Bellissimi i riflessi di colore nell'acqua.

An excellent night shot. The light is well managed, you choosen a good shutter speed to capture the atmosphere of this town. The reflection in water is wonderful.

Excellent picture, very well exposed, conveys very effectively the beauty of the place. Good use of the river as a composition element. Is it a miniature firework show that you surprised in the background?

This is an excellent shot. The exposure is good. I just wish the sky was deep blue rather than grey balck. But still a picture worthy of full points. Thanks for sharing.
