Between two lighthouses Photo

Photographer’s Note

An ordinary Sunday, an ordinary afternoon, an ordinary postcard of a small beautiful town, that you might allready know.
Piran , the pearl of Adriatic sea (probably like every town on the coast of it):))
Temperatures were arrround 12°C, the sea also, many turists easyly walking arround, restaurants gardens full, benches all busy, colours everywhere, life everywhere, smiles everywhere...:))
I lived there for 20 years, and I never saw it like this, so I'm starting to think, that watching through an occular changes the view:))
I wish a great coloured sunny day as this one, to everybody:)M.

Looks like you're enjoying a sunnier Christmas than we are here in the UK, Miuky.
The panoramic crop works well, and I like the framing of the town between the two lighthouses. I think we could have done with less of the piled up rocks in the foreground though.
I like this one, good work.

Une carte postale ordinaire ! vous êtes trop modeste, Miuky, j'aime beaucoup cette composition avec ces deux balises qui prennent des airs de petits monuments. Quant à la ville, elle se dessine avec élégance à l'horizon. Cette composition est soigneusement réalisée.
Bravo !

Ciao Maja, questa mattina siamo vicini, appena un minuto di differenza tra la tua foto e la mia, bel panorama pieno di luce e colori, illuminato da uno splendido sole natalizio come quello che brilla oggi su Spoleto, di nuovo tanti auguri, ciao Silvio

Simply a stunning capture - great POV and DOF. You used the light to your advantage. And of course a quality frame.

I like the optical illusion here that both lighthouses are on the same plane. I also like the warm cold colour opposition of red vs cyan. Tfs!
