Photographer’s Note
I've been listening to Leonard Bernstein's and the NY Philharmonic orchestra Bolero, Ravel...after hours of classics that for my oppinion have been made for God's and for us...as variations of Greenslaves/Verdi/Aida, Schindler's list theme/Itzhak Perlman/williams, Strauss/On the beatifull Danube or Viennes Bombons, Tchaikovsky/Nutcracker and Swan Lake, or the amazing souns of Vivaldi's 4 Seasons...and I took my camera, sit in the car and went for a peaceful empty spaces...filled just with sounds of nature...to make my eyes enjoy like ears did for hours...to fulfill myself with liberty...
This were taken in salt pans Secovlje , today a museum and a very productive company.
I used a gradueted spacle, tabacco, to get out the ground, because the sun was wery strong, resized, lowered the bites and here you have...with the sounds feels better, belive me:)

Good morning Miuky
I like the effect of the tobacco filter in this shot. You've chosen a good POV to provide wonderful perspective. The image is lovely and sharp. The overall effect is very positive. Very nice work.
Best wishes

Excellent composition combined with wonderful colours. the transparency of the water is amazing. You did a perfect job here at transmitting us a very unique atmosphere with old decaying boat. Congratulations.

Ciao Miuky, io non amo troppo le foto con i filtri graduati, ma questa funziona bene e hai fatto una bella inquadratura e composizione!
il relitto della barca č bellissimo e l' immagine ben bilanciata!
Brava!

Hi Miuky,
You have to be very careful when using coloured graduated filters, otherwise the effect can look very unnatural. Unfortunately that is the case here; the orange sky doesn't in any way match the colour temperature in the rest of the scene. I can see from the colours at the bottom of the frame that you probably took this in the middle of the day, so that orange sky really looks out of place. I think coloured grads, if they are used at all, should only be used to enhance what is already there. ie use an orange grad like this to enhance a sunset by all means, but it's use in the middle of the day is just plain wrong. In my view it's the best way to ruin an otherwise good photograph.
This scene has real potential; the shapes of the decaying boat are interesting, and I like the reflection and clarity of the water. I think it's worth another try, but next time leave that bl**dy filter at home. Or even better, chuck it in the bin.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Miuky, Nice interesting photo, good use of your POV to help create depth & the eye is drawn across the shot by the old boat carcass, great colours & love the reflection, excellent light, kind regards Wilson.

I like the old boat which seems a skeleton of whale and the warm colours of the sky done by filter which replace a too white sky.

Zdravo Maja!
Pozdrav!

Hello Miuky,
The filter works very well here...harmonious wedding with the green in the water even if we loose the natural...
I like the boat in decomposition as a witness of the time going by...
have a nice sunday,
vincent

Hi Miuky, nice shading of colours and nice subject. Unfortunatly traditional fishing boats today are difficult to find unless they are in these poor conditions. This is/was a tipical "bragozzo".

Hello Miuky
I started listen to the music and looked at the image. It should be very nice, but I saw the ugly house on the left and the music żżgrrrzz...;) Lovely colours, composition. I like the place only with the exception of this building :).

Hello Miuky, I love the decomposing boat in this composition, your title is very fitting. I see you have a tobacco filter, used to good effect here. I would maybe reduce the strength of it in PP. Just be careful you don't over use this one in your galleries though. Well done..
