Photographer’s Note

Ljubljana old town is very beautiful and pleasant place. It is compact, cosy and colorful, situated along the banks of river Ljubljanica. In the morning the riverside opposite to the castle is enjoying the sunshine, but in the afternoon the sun moves to the other side, and people follow. There are plenty of cafes on both sides, where you may spend time with your friends on weekends. Today I was crossing the bridge and noticed nice reflection on calm water surface. Minutes later it disappeared due to passing of boat - see workshop.

sometimes reflections are better in the photographs than in reality! And this happens here, I think: you described it so well!
It is too long time that I don't go to this beautiful town, not far from my place.

Beautiful line of houses near Ljubljanica river.
Colors and reflections are amazing.Also good contrasts and sharpness.
I have plan to came in Ljubljana in december about Christmass time,when the city is cowered with lights. Regards!

Hi Vilius, I like the symmetry here, and the luminosity of the image is perfect, as is the quality of the reflection, and I like how the sky is darkened by it. Very good to have this tower there as well. Really nice townscape.

Well, it almost seems that I'm coming to late to congratulate you for this piece of art. The composition is great. The diagonal line leads us through that house lane smoothly and on top you present that castle. It seems that this was still not enough to be great and for such you added the channel with its marvelous reflection and making it an awsome photo.

What a reflection! While I was browsing through your pictures, my wife was lloking also , and she pointed that one, saying: unbelievable reflexion! And that's true! Curious - was a polarizing filter used?
Perfect shot, so colorful and neat.

I visited your gallery and found lots of great water reflection photos. They are all amazing and particularly for this one I like the calming and easing effect of Ljubljana most.
