[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The traditional sunday Papagolfade today comes from the Slovenian coastal town Piran on the Istria peninsula, I already had presented a panorama of Tartinijev trg, here is another angle where I had to crop vertically an originally horizontal shot in order to eliminate many parked cars obstruating the view, I post it because I like the height rendered by the succession of elements that resulted.

The Papagolfade is "Cerkev Sv. Jurija" or "St George church", formerly built in the XII th century, but the current appearance reflects a XVII th century rebuild.

very nice shot Jean Yves,
those two flower pots in front made the depth the photo needs, the composition is nice, the colours are good and the quality is good, very nice job.

Salut Jean Yves

I like the symmetry, & color coordination between the 2 fg flower pots of green & beige, with the almost identically colored edifices behind them. Well seen!

salut jean-yves,
interesting view of that square, i only passed through slovenia once and have no much idea about the country, but if i were to imagine how a slovenian town could look like - it should be like that today's posting of yours;
best wishes, j.

Bonjour Jean-Yves,
Une compo très réussie. Joli cadrage, les couleurs sont très belles et la qualité et définition sont parfaites. J'aime bien aussi comme tu as cadré le beffroi a droite de l'image.
Bien vue!
Respects,
Josep

Dag Jean Yves,
A nice portrait of the city and it´s architecture.Yes,the flower pots add depth and fill the empty place.I like the cheerful color palette.
Have a nice sunday,
Hermann

Salut Jean-Yves
Another fine Papagolfade! This looks to be a very pretty little town, the smooth paving of the square almost looks like water. The clock tower reminds me a bit of the one in St Mark's Square in Venice.
Lovely colours and exposure.

Great shot of this old town. As others have said, you used the flowers in the foreground to give this some balance and show the expanse of the square. Great work!

Salut Jean-Yves,

Hi Jean-Yves.

I am surprised there are so much parked cars.
In order to get into the old town of Piran you need to pay a fee, and I wonder if it is allowed at all now. I love the way you took this photo, with the inclusion of the foreground, the open space, the old architecture and good portion of the clean sky. So much information in just 800px height. Amazing!

Aleks

Hi Jean-Yves. Well the foreground is setup well here with the plants and the birds certainly add some interest up in the sky. Of course the architecture is oh so beautiful. Nice one JY!

Salut Jean Yves
encore une belle image, simple mais parfaitement composee. Belle lumiere aussi.

Serwus Jean Yves !
This one has some typical warm, southern ambiance.
Well presented square in vertical. Clear and sharp, in fine natural colorsetting.
Be well,
Mat
