With my BIG surprise, nearby Kranjska Gora while i was skiing (long-distance and slowly!) in the valley i have discovered a breeding of ostrichs! (perhaps 20-25 animals)
I had always thinked that the ostrichs are animals living in places very warm, and in Kranjska last week the temperature was in the night between -15° and -23°...
But the ostrichs were here apparently without problems in spite of snow and temperature!
In the zone you can find many animals (hourses, dogs, cats, gooses etc., even cows and sheepes in the house in front of a luxus hotel)
The people here have a passion for birds, every house present a little wooden 'house' for birds... but ostrichs!
With these big eyes and 'long lash' they were so expressive that i have tryed to make a "portrait"...! I hope you like it.

Bonjour Giorgio,
Surprenant !! C'est ce qui s'appelle 'capeter une expression'.
Très net et très 'nature'.
J'aime beaucoup.
Daniel.
Hahaha, I really like the head of those animals! They have so much a dubitative air! Very sharp and detail, the kind of close-up portrait I love. Well done.

Very effective close-up, Giorgio. A slight adjustment in contrast with the sky is my only irritation. The scene is almost anthropomorphic. Cheers.
