Photographer’s Note

Today's view has been shot from the descending cable car that starts from the shores of lake Bohinj to the Vogel ski area above the lake. It shows the eastern part of the lake and the valley behind. The village close to the shore is "Stara Fuzina", the further one "Srednja Vas", between both but hidden by the hill is "Studor", the village of Kozolec. At the right of the lake you can also spot a bit of another village, "Ribcev Laz".

C'est un très beau survol... et d'un endroit magnifique.

Encore une très belle vue Jean-Yves. Le dessin de ce lac est très détaillé, et les reflets très bien rendus.L'ensemble est parfaitement équilibré, et la brume sur les montagnes est du meilleur effet. Bravo pour cette contribution !

Super idée de prendre la photo depuis le téléphérique, ça donne en effet un point de vue exceptionnel.
J'aime cette compo avec le sapin à droite.
On se croirait en Suisse avec ce lac et la vallée !

Nice aerial view of this striking scenery, Jean-Yves. A pleasant sense of depth is conveyed as the eye wanders across the undulating tree-topped hills, and the villages are so nicely embedded in between. The summer light is really delightful, too. Well done.

La Slovénie est une région magnifique et j'aime bien la façon dont as pris ce lac avec le paysage derrière. Les reflets des nuages dans l'eau sont aussi très beaux à voir! Bravo!

Une image d'un pays que je ne connais pas... encore. C'est une très belle vue plongeante et profonde à la fois d'un paysage magnifique.
Pour reprendre l'expression de Fred, je trouve qu'elle manque de punch. J'essaye un WS.

A superb elevated pov looking out over the valley. I like the clouds reflected in the lake. Excellent sharpness, & the diagonal slope of the foreground hill enhances the composition. Perhaps it could be very slightly darkened? Fantastic shot overall. Tres bon!
