Photographer’s Note

Part of the Eastern Alps, these imposing limestone peaks are located in a wild and scenic region on the borders where Italy, Austria, and western Slovenia meet. What these mountains lack in height they make up for in character: Their sheer cliffs and razor-sharp ridges rise to steep, crumbling pinnacles. Excellent and long rock-climbs abound here, the highest and most popular of which is Triglav (9,396 ft./ 2,864 m), whose steep north wall is one of the most daunting sights in the Alps.

colors attract me more than the geography. you have captured a full array from nature's easel. beautiful.
i like the way the sunrays gleam out from different peaks, which is most attractive element in this shot to me.
have you done some PP with sharpness etc.?

Wonderful view Anna!
I really like the layers of the mountains and the light. The contrast between the warm red colour and the blue layers are also wonderful.

Wonderful light streaming across the mountain tops Anna, yielding lovely colors in the foreground. The rock outcroppings frame the vista of mountains disappearing into the hazy distance. Well composed and well executed. Welcome to TE!

Love this image, for me this is a three part photo, where each part works with one another pretty well.
Firstly we see warm colours of the well detailes rocks in the foreground, which lead us to the hazed and beutifully lit up layers of mountains with a colder blueish cast, fantastic contrast in colours and impression, then we have a sky, which IMO is a bit weaker part of the image.
Think the image would also work very well in black and white.

Beautiful scenery. Fantastic light, especially on the lays from the moutains, which are in one row.

Beautiful colours as well. (But it's a shame that there is a little bit noice in it.)

Layer of mountain ridges and rays of lights, together with the characters of the rockfaces. You have done beautifully this composition Anna.
