Photographer’s Note

Bovec is a small alpine town in northwestern Slovenia and this is its own airfield, surrounded by high mountains. It is also known as very popular airfield, destination for gliders. This is another shot from my friends wedding, celebrated by flying with these white beauties.

Hi Jeri, this is a great scene with the light green grass and the darker treed hills rising up behind. This would be pretty good on it's own, but then you added these 3 gliders to the scene. It's all very nicely done. This is one that you might have considered for a large post. The detail and colour look great, it would be good to see in a larger size.

Dear Jeri,
I like the wind, and the classic glider fits best the breeze.
its shape itself is very smart and flying feature is splendor for the sky.
you captured the graceful characteristic of gliders on the fresh green ground and surrounded mountains with deep green.
the wings are pliantly long and brilliant white. a beautiful scene and very comfortable mood I feel.
your wedding friends are truly happy.
