Photographer's Note
Another shot in my 'Beeches' series taken recently on an short cross-country hike near my home. Autumn is coming. Beeches, beeches ... the variety of their forms is inexhaustible. Beauty of the light confirms: autumn is coming.
Scanned by Nikon CoolScan ED IV. Cropped slightly, curves to adjust contrast and lightness. Unsharp mask level 71, 5 pix radius at 4.000 pix picture width. Resampled to 800 pix width, sharpened using Unsarp mask level 35, 1 pix radius. JPEG level 70 (Corel PhotoPaint notation). A higher quality level produces unfortunately too big file for TE limitations due to a lot of detail in the picture.
See comments for changes in picture processing (resampled at 72 dpi instead of at 2900 dpi).
