Photographer’s Note
"You don`t even need talent" once said someone. I disagree utterly, except for the no talent part perhaps.
Why it`s not sooo very easy:
- You`re standing outside in the cold, battling the elements (so to speak) for the right light, conditions etc.
- You forget the tripod at home.
- You manage to leave, saying "eh it`s all over anyway", before the action starts.
- You get about a minute to about five max. or so to capture the conditions, if you`re lucky enough you didnt mess up by leaving prematurely.
- Meanwhile you`re cursing yourself for not choosing the right shutter speed, the light is low, so the shutter must be low, or the picture is blurry.
So there, I could think of a couple more, but that`s it.
This one is shot from my balcony (after I left for home prematurely). :)
Thanks for seeing and reading.

The idea and composition is good, but in my monitor it looks too dark to be appreciated. In such a cases I generally take two or three shots with different exposures and then choose the best. (See last post of pablominto as an example)
Best greetings,

Hello Miha, I agree they are not so easy especially good ones, I have taken maybe a hundred & not many good ones, Maybe one or two are Ok, You have a very nice view from your balcony, now I'm a little envious, ;-). I see the mountains, are there any Kangaroos there? Hehe.
Nice warm colours & a very impressive sky, well captured.
It looks like it's still cold there with those snow capped mountains clearly visible.
Take care
Santo

Hello Miha,
He, he. You got many lessons my dear friend. Hope you didn't forget a bottle of whisky or cognac preventing the icy colds.
The result is fantastic as you wrote in your note that the scene is available only just for few minutes. Splendid reddish lights on bottom of clouds while creating amazing contrasts with blues. Congratulations. Have a nice weekend.
Friendly Regards,
Ertugrul

Hi Miha,
the colors of the sky and of the clouds are very nice.
The light on the tops of the mountains is beautiful.
I think that it is not so simple to convey the true atmosphere you've seen. You maded it very well.
Bravo!
