My town from above Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is just a view of Kamnik from one of the local hills that surround it. It`s only a portion of the town, but the view was good and I just had to take it.

The PP work is not heavy, although it might look like that. A bit of shadows/highlights to pronounce the mountains in the background. Some colors. In any case, I think the picture is true to the conditions of the day.

The lighting was nothing special, but when I descended into the valley, the sun produced some marvelous conditions for a couple of minutes. Too bad I was in the middle of a thick forest by then. :)

Hello Miha, A different view to recent post even though it looks to me like it was taken not far from each other. Apart from the very beautiful view, the rolling hills & buildings what really stand out is the same brightly coloured roofs, for me it certainly adds interest & colour. Bravo

This is a fine landscape and your town is a lovely town. Pity that most of it was in shade but anyhow the picture has a great sense of depth and space. I like the diagonal development of the slope.

A city very well located in a superb landsacpe. A nice view too with many details well collected and a great prospect. Superb sky too. The red colors of roofs and the white colors of snow arise very well in the image.

Very nice view and excellent capture Miha. I liked a lot, especially eye catching red roofs on green, snowy ground. The next view of valley is amazing with lights on forest and tells us how wonderfully green your town. Great additions of next huge mountains too. Congratulations. Have a nice new week.
