Autumn coming Photo

Hey,

Well, another photo from home. The autumn is here. My favorite season, or so I thought - before it got cold. :) Beats summer though in my opinion.

Well, I know that the proportions on this photo are a bit off - too much of the sky you might say. But I tried the usual 1:1 ratio, but the photo just felt too ... chubby. I`m posting it as a WS, so that you`ll be able to decide. I know that 1:1 ratio is probably more "correct", but still, I felt like posting this one.

Anyway, is autumn your favorite season too? Unless you live somewhere near to the equator and you have no idea what autumn is. :>

I see the changing of the colour from the far distance forest here and soon with see it's glory of full autumn colouration in your country!
I loved the pov of yours which included the little on the road towards the town with good depth!

Hello Miha,

Except some worst straightening I never cropped any of my photo personally. For me there is no differences between your primary and workshop post. Excellent way using paved way leading us to scene. Splendid view there, especially with white church and green texture mixed with autumn colors are wonderful while bicycle rider adding life to your scene. Congratulations. Have a nice new week.

I like that view of the little village. Great idea to include the road on the left. I like its curves. The sky is vivid and stunning. I like the vertical format that shows more sky.

really Autumn came even in Greece.Nice this landscape view with the Autumn colors and the road that create depth in the scene.The little child adds life in the it. I like the lights and the colors of the season,are extraordinaries.

A superb sky, nice tenders colors well collected and especially a composition well balanced: the way with the bike on the left, the field in the FG and the nice church in the middle of the village and of the vegetation with the firts colors of autumn.

Živjo,

vidim da se zpet potikaš okoli svojega doma. :) No, sicer pa pravijo, da je doma najlepše. :)) Jesen...ma vsak poletni čas je zame nekaj posebnega...res pa je, da letošnjega poletja prav nič ne bom pogrešala in da sem komaj čakala jesen. Če dobro razmislim, sta mi jesen in pomlad najbližje. Razen ko se deževno obdobje že predolgo vleče...
Glede slike...po moje bi jaz še več prostora prepustila nebu (seveda bi potem jih spet slišala kako kršim pravila...bla bla bla :)) zato zelo pozdravljam tvojo odločitev. Mislim da izredno dobro delujejo z majhno cerkvico...nastaja tak poseben odnos: skromnost na zemlji in veličasnost na nebu (hm..sumljivo zahajam v cerkvene sfere sedajle :), zato menim, da je tvoja odločitev popolnoma na mestu. Ter seveda simbolična pot, ki pelje prek enega do drugega.

Hey Miha,
I really like that fabulous sky! The clouds and the blue sky looks really strange but beautiful.
I think this is a better version, don't know why but it just is=)
I have to say that I like summer more than autumn. Of course the autumn colors and landscapes are beautiful but I don't like cold weather.

Although the autumn color is not as strong here compared to other parts of the world like Canada, this is a fine view of the season's change.

Haha, I live near the equator but I have posted autumn color from here!

I think the sky and cloud formation is attractive and both versions are ok. But you can also get this effect from landscape shot using wide angle of 18mmFL?

I like the road along the left side entering into the picture. tfs

I was just thinking this time last year we were finishing Croatia and heading into your homeland in Autumn which is in fact as beautiful as any other country in the fall.
Postojna was just oozing with yellows, reds and off greens, im looking forward to more from here because I know the colours will get even more beautiful. Superb church and I like the clouds as I do. Great work Miha.

With weather like you had here for this photo, autumn is also favourite for me. Of course with the beautiful colours of the trees in particular. The sky is also beautiful here with great clouds. Good inclusion of the road as well on the left hand side. Thanks for sharing!

another dramatic sky from you. Excellently shot with lovely perspective of the road.
The centre building is just great and you add it in the middle makes it more pronounced.

Dragi druže, zdravo Miha,

Slovenija je lepa i bez tvojih fotografija, ali tvoje fotografije dobro dođu za one koji to još ne znaju. Ja znam da je svuda oko tebe park, da je sve sređeno, da više nema ništa da se radi, da možeš samo da uzmeš štap za pecanje, opremu za planinarenje ili fotoaparat za svaku priliku. Ja sam posebno zadovoljan ako ti je aparat uvek u torbi. Ti to umeš lepo da iskoristiš. Baš kao i ovoga puta. Bilo mi je veliko zadovoljstvo da te opet posetim i činiću to redovno ako narednih dana budem u Beogradu.

Yes autumn is my favorite season as well. You have a beautiful homeland Miha. So photogenic! The clouds here are great and you captured them well. I like the road winding up towards the pretty church. The child on their bike is an added bonus.

Hi Miha,

no, I would not say too much of the sky .. it is the point .. all the drama is there .. vast, infinite, powerful ... the small biker is a thoughtful contrast to it .. I love the winding road .. if anything I wish I had a bit more of it in the foreground .. wonderful image .. and you have a beautiful home.
