Photographer’s Note

Hey!

This is I guess my second take on this waterfall, the first was this one:

Now, what I`ve done here is exactly the opposite. I`ve changed the long exposure to a short one (1/4000 - as high as it goes). I guess the first is still more impressive, but in this one you can actually see the little droplets and how the flow pounds the rock. Don`t know what kind of shutter speed you`d need to freeze the whole thing, because the flow still seems pretty much fast here (and so it was - with the water melting in the mountains).

Well, thoughts and notes appreciated and, here`s the exif:

Make: NIKON CORPORATION
Model: NIKON D50
Software: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Windows
Exposure Time: 10/40000 sec
F-Stop: f/3.5
Focal Length: 18 mm
Date Taken: 2007-05-07 16:30
Metering Mode: Pattern
File Size: 194 kb

Enjoy.

P.S: I`ll upload a WS or two tomorrow, featuring a couple of interesting things I`ve seen near to where I`ve taken this one.
