Photographer’s Note

This is a view from above Ankaran towards the city of Koper. Click on the map to see the location and on the picture to see the large version.

The vineyards are taken already, the leafs are turning red. This sunny side of the hill was covered with them.

Taken early in the morning. Stitch of three shots, made at 18 mm effective focal length. Light was poor, so I enhanced the picture with a contrast mask.

certe volte TE è un mistero! Finora hanno visto questa bellissima foto in 72 e nessuno ne ha detto niente, incredibile.
Ci mostri un luogo stupendo (che io ben conosco) con un'agricoltura piena di colori, un borgo a destra, il mnare con il porto: fantastico!
Forse avresti fatto meglio a tenerti su una focale meno da grandangolo e scattare più foto. Ma a me piace moltissimo così, forse anche , ripeto, perchè conosco il posto e ne hai fatto un'ottima sintesi.

wow, what a panorama. The colors are fabulous and blend to give a very pleasant result. The dramatic sky is a real plus to the depth of this image.
