Photographer’s Note
Fishing is a way of life in Piran. Be it in boats, or a way to pass your time!
This young man was excited, I guess he saw something moving in the water.

Hello Arnab,
Perhaps the fisherman looks at the water, but the direction into he looks also puts our attention on the beautiful peninsule we see on the background.
A good composition and beautiful colours.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Arnab,
from your most beautiful photos from Piran it is clearly seen that they are special to you. This one is such a great compliment to our little town by the sea, as you captured it so perfectly...summoned the beauty of town "growing" out of sea and the way of life of many residents...and tourists. The relation between the boy and the shore with facades is excellent, it creates wonderful feeling of space and the charactertics of the town.
Warm regards,
Jeri
PS visiting Bovec in winter can be wonderful experience. You can visit the top of Kanin
(skiing terrain on the mountain in Bovec) from where is marvelous view all the way to the Trieste on clear sunny day: http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Slovenia/West/Posocje/photo383246.htm
I also recommend the river Soca for its marvelous colour:
