Boats with view over ALPS Photo

Photographer’s Note

Three boats in front of the little town Koper on the Slovenian Coast are waiting for a strong wind, that opened this great view to the Alps, stops to blow. The wind is called Burja (pronunced Burya) and the port for the big ship Port of Koper.
This foto is taken with a borrowed camera on a free day in Slovenia - the Fest of Culture

Zivjo Mateja,

se en prelep vtis teh prekrasnih dni. Izredno intenziven kontrast med morjem, jadrnicami in gorami v ozadju. Skoda da je burja ponavadi tako mrzla. :)

On pourrait croie que c'es les alpes en fond, mangigique image, avec 2 plans différent, sombre et éclairés, très bel effent ce ces 3 bâteaux, une très belle compo.

Hi Mateja,
I like the distant background of the magnificent snow capped mountains. Good portrayal contrast with the different sizes of boats. Only thing I'm not sure though is the color of the sea is a bit too dark. But this could have been an intended effect to make the boats standout. But overall a well composed photo. Well done! tfs
