Storm in port Koper Photo

Photographer’s Note

The Obalno-Kraška (Coastal-Karst) region is one of the smallest regions in Slovenia in terms of size and among the most developed in terms of economic conditions. Port Koper is the only big port in Slovenia and has a big impact on the development of the region.

The day when the photograph was taken was quite stormy so I waited in the car and at the moment when it stopped raining for a while I got out of the car, take the picture and then run back because the rain started again. I was lucky to capture the good light conditions and the ship which was returning to the port just the right moment.

That's a pretty nice photo!

Good colorful shot of this harbour scene.You did well to wait,because after the rain you got this good light and bright colors.Good composition with the diagonal rows of parking cars and a great contrast with this grey sky.

Hi Jernej, A wonderful daily life shot, with excellent colours & superb focus, I love the composition, I would not normaly like carparks however it works very well in this photo, great light under a stormy looking sky, nice shot, kind regards Wilson.
