Photographer’s Note

There's an irony connected with the title of this picture. Our mayor, to be reelected, ordered to do some changes in the town of Koper. The paving on the promenade on the border of the bay, lamps, the traffic regime and the line of palmas that costs a fortune.
Palmas on the coast of Adriatic sea, on the karstic reagion..., well...?!
So in local newpapers and other media, there came out this logo...
Connected to he's surname(Popović), the town got a new name:))
Palma De Popo:))

This picture was taken on new years eve, still no people arround, and theres a graphic texture added, to rise up a bit details.

must be something going on with mayors :) ... ours had the pavement changed recently - on the main street, too - night view is very pretty - but day view at least now - in this season, is quite lousy

Bella foto, anche oggi, molto nitida e con una prospettiva interessante. Le luci notturne sono rese alla perfezione.

Hello Miuky.
This is definately a cool effect. The blue hue adds some coolness to the shot, making for wuite a winter shot. I like how the darkness overtakes just above the streetlamps, this gives the photo a surreal feeling.

Hi Miuky,

I like the bluish light of the image which creates a certain environment at this night which seems cold. I appreciate also the clearness of the photograph. Original and pleasant image.
