Photographer’s Note
Halllooooooo!
I'm back for one really fast shot. Going home from work I saw a possibility to make a picture. I agree, it's a sunset, I am repeting myself,... but there is nothing I can do about it if I want to take a part of TE... Hope that all of you are well and that you like this one. I'll try to answer to all of you... someday ;o)

This building I'm inside is called "taverna" and centuries ago it was used for storing salt. At that time the building was without this arches. Later it was opened with arches and inside was a local market. I must make some researches to find specific years... I will post some other pictures with this data in coming days.

Hi Tomi.
The view from the window of the "taverna".
Maybe you have a lot of sunsets but...What's the problem if all are like this one?
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Tomi,
This is a superb composition with excellent colour and lighting. I like the POV from the archway and the detail is good in both foreground and elsewhere in the frame. YOu managed the exposure on this very well, Tomi. This is very pleasing work. All the best.

Hi Tomi,
I think the frame here gives it a special character and the darkness on the edges brings out the nice colors of the sky more. Nice POV and exposure. I like it..
Cheers,

Your POV is well chosen. The arch not only frames the picture well but hides the glare you would have had from the sun. Beautiful sunset and it is different from all your others. Well done; good to see your photos again

Good framing to this late sun view over the harbour here, a photo that radiates an incredible digital clearness and sharpness.

Hi Tomi, I don't think you needed to put a frame around this photo, the archway would do well on its own.
Well composed, very sharp and detailed, and the colours of the sunset are great. Well shown, thank you.

Well done!

You did a great job out of practically nothing, a harbour with boats like so many by a seashore, but your capture of the light and the framing idea (doubled by the outer frame as well, which becomes part of the image, in a way) add a very expressive dramatic touch. This is great work, IMO.

Bonour Tomi,
Compliments.
Daniel.

Hi Tomi, It seems like your walk from work to home is quit enjoyable! What a beautiful environment! It seems I'm getting more and more into appreciating natural framing and this arch surely is a success. The view is fabulous and however many sunsets you would post, they are all different anyhow, so don't be afraid to repeat yourself! Very nice shot! Sabine

Hi Tomi - this one works very well, the archway provides a nice frame to the marina & the sunset colours are great. There's nothing wrong with sunset shots when they look like this!
