Photographer’s Note

6 km long river Rak through spring valley, that was formed by the collapse of the ceiling of an underground cave. Place called Rakov Skocjan.

This is a view over the river and surrounding landscape from one side of the bridge... The other is added in the workshop department.

a nice impression of this valley, which I like a lot. The caves with the flowing river in it are the most beautiful I´ve seen in my life.

Hello Jeri,

This is a lovely composition, and reminds me very much of that Breughel painting of winter.

Your picture has only two figures in it, but they give maximum effect where the are placed on the snow in the distance.

The curving river leads the eye nicely round the composition, and the dark trees stand out well against the snow.

The WS picture is also excellent.

Yes and this one is created like a painting. Colors and forms take the main part of the composition, (is the composition). General image is harmonic for the viewer eyes. Good work.

Dear Jeri,
this looks a sketch of your imagined scenery,
in early winter, the snow is just starting to make up the land,
and now its pale veil of thin lace begins to cover all... autumnal views in your eyes and memories in your mind.

Bonjour Jeri,
This image is really beautiful: as a painting or an illustration for a children's book with both persons far on the road. Do they arrive or leave? It is maybe the beginning or the end of the book.
I love all these different shots and all these curves.
Colors are full of delicacy.
I love it!
