Photographer's Note

Predjama Castle is one of the true jewels of Slovenia. A lot of people prefer to go to Postojna Caves whice are 9 kilometres and dont see the castle. Also there isnt a bus that take you there so you have to hitchike around the mountains of Slovenia which is really good. There are a lot of small towns in the road.
The castle has a great story full of details but is really scary to imagine how people could live during the winter in such a castle in the middle of a mountain.

Hi Fran,
I seen this place photgraphed once before, and it is a fascinating building, I can see why it is considered a jewel. Your point of view is excellent, the path leading down and then up into the beautiful architecture. It shows up really nicely against the lush green grass.
