Photographer’s Note

Once again in my best place in plato Sleme with small lake and beckground is wonderful mt. Jalovec.

Sleme is a true paradise for photographers and for other mountain walkers. The altitude is verging on the modest, although the grassy knoll marking the start of a chain of towering mountains all the way to Mt Jalovec offers fantastic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. And the foreground has its own enchantments, too, including tiny lakes and ancient larches bordering the grassy plateau of Sleme. The mountain of Slemenova spica (1911 m) is a peak set back a little above the valley, and offers even more expansive views.

A well-balanced composition. The dark foreground shows us nice reflections and offers a nice contrast to the lighter blue hues of the sky. Mt Jalovec, with its pointed summit, is a very nice background.

Again a very nice picture of this beautiful country. Very nice POV, with different layers. I dont like so much the frame though.
