Bohinj is one of those natural wonders with which Slovenia has been generously endowed. As our planet adorned itself with various decorations, right here it created a natural paradise. As you come to the edge of the lake, you can hear somewhere deep in your soul the magnificent symphony of nature. The enchanting song of this unspoilt wonder catches up your gaze. In Bohinj each season has its own delights. The gushing waters in spring, the irrepressible relaxation of the nature and people in summer, the magical play of the sun's colours in autumn and the white silence of winter - such is the very harmony which modern man so urgently desires. You need only hop up the nearest hill or row out into the middle of the lake to hear the murmuring of your enraptured soul. Here the beauty of the nature has that eternal quality, quietly gazing at itself in the smoothness of the lake. Tu as bien choisi ton point de vue derrière cette roche toute illuminée par le soleil tandis que la brume au loin est spectaculaire. Le cadrage vertical apporte de la profondeur à l'ensemble.

Congratulations on taking this truely stunning picture. The viewpoint is excellent with both FG and BG well exposed and sharp. The boulder anchors the composition and contrasts with the softness of the clouds lingering over the mountains.

A good 2013,

The stone on the forground and the vertical
poistion (and the great point of view and
composition) creates a nice depth in the
picture. Light management is also great.
The picture is also exciting (the lower
clouds creates a nice atmosphere).

Well Well Well, I don't believe that the boulder playing cute at foreground "takes all the spotlight" in this fabulous picture of first magnitude because the foggy mountain at backdrop and its competitive reflexion win the fight for the "WOW"!

Good shot, as I scrolled down and see only the rock even that make a pretty good shot. The vertical format work well, the inclusion of the boulder adds a strong anchor point to our vision. and the shoreline leading in to the misty landscape completes the composition beautiful. Great quality and the mood is really well presented.
