my version of the lake of Bled including this wooden path along the water,
an enchanting and unexpected/not planed visit of this place before to go to Croatia
the bad weather finally suits quite well with the spirit of this place

Salut Jonathan,

J'ai visité Bled au début des années 70, cela pour te dire combien ta belle photo évoque des souvenirs pour moi. Cet endroit n'a pas changé, heureusement.
Tu nous offres une belle composition. L'avant-plan avec ces planches constituent une belle originalité, un bel équilibre dans le positionnement de l'île par rapport aux montagnes. Une belle utilisation de la lumière (qui ne semblait pas des plus faciles) ce qui donne de beaux reflets dans l'eau du lac.

This is a peaceful and pleasant composition. The atmosphere is very nice and the lack of distractions allow us to enjoy the calm waters and dramatic background. Good sharpness and soft colours to present this place. Cheers :-)

Une très belle composition avec ce ponton au premier plan. Toute l'image est d'une incroyable netteté ! Le ciel et le lac lisses avec ces couleurs plombées donnent une atmosphère particulière à la photo. Tèrs belle vue.

Ton cadrage est élégant. La lumière est belle et l'église ainsi que son reflet se détachent très bien dans le ciel et le lac.

This low pov is fantastic! The wooden path is very sharp and I think it was a great idea using it as a lower frame!
The upper side of the scene is no less beautiful and interesting! That place is so nice and with this composition you made it different and wonderful, including a very good reflection!

What a wonderful landscape you have photographed here, with the composition boldly including a generous amount of well detailed and close-up timbework. It forms a lovely contrast to the scene behind and the gentle diagonal makes the shot more interesting. The scene of the lake, mountains and church is just wondrous. A beautiful photograph.

A great view over this lake. The calm blue water is beautiful with some nice reflections of the trees and tower. The silhouettes of the mountains and the dark blue clouds are a nice background and the wooden path is well included in the foreground. Thanks for sharing!

J'aime bien le contraste entre le côté rugueux du premier plan et la douceur de l'arrière plan, c'est bien composé et tu as su tirer un beau parti d'un temps pas forcement idéal pour la photo.
j'aime beaucoup le résultat!!

Yes the weather you had here was fortuitous indeed, the blue/brown palette is really nice. Love the diagonals in the foreground and the texture of the wood. How this comes to be sharp front to back at f/4.5 would appear to be a mystery to me!

Beautiful place by the lake. Lovely town on the other side of the lake with the spire dominating. Maybe I might have wanted some crop of the wooden path in the FG...it is too dominating & maybe perhaps a bit distracting from the lovely FG...my two pence thoughts! Otherwise excellent.

Jonathan, c'est une très belle photo bien composée avec ce premier plan de bois. Ce paysage de carte postale est ainsi bien mis en valeur. Beaux reflets sur le lac au pied des montagnes.

Un cadrage vraiment original et qui équilibre bien la photo je trouve. Ce ciel dramatique apporte une atmosphère bien particulière au paysage et j'aime bien le reflet de l'église dans le lac. Agréable composition.
