Right in the middle of the sylvan Julian Alps of Slovenia lies a blue lake with a single island seemingly floating in it with a quaint steeple pointing skywards from it. Like everything else in this gem of a country, this lake's environs are refreshingly verdant. Lake Bled is located around 55 km from Ljubljana, the capital. The church of the Assumption of Mary couldn't have been built in a better setting. It is easily accessible by wooden row boats that dot the edges of the lake.
Bled also has a castle that is dramatically perched on a hill near the town and not far away (around 3 km) is the Vintgar gorge with deep blue water gushing through it.
This photograph was taken from Osojnica hill just as the sun was setting.

Hi Prajwal, lovely view of this beautiful lake, beautifully captured in this photograph good (although a little tilted to the left). A nice image of a charming place, with good sharpness, nice color and light. A great job well done, congratulations my friend. Thanks for sharing this beautiful work.
Good morning and happy start to the week.
All the best from southern Spain.
