Photographer’s Note
Yesterday when I was wandering around the town and trying to take some photos, I also went to the town's cemetery.
I spent some time in this realm of the dead, looking at tombstones when I noticed small statue of a girl raising her arms to the sky, like she was begging to be accepted to Heaven. I found it so interesting that I took a picture of it.
In the evening when I was going through my photos and deciding what to post on TE, I came up with an interesting idea...to join image of that statue with the image of the funeral home and...create a ghost, lost soul that is waiting to be taken to the other side.
I hope you'll like it.

hi Stasa,
good morning - and great job here!
I myself don't have a clue how to merge pictures... should do more research on Photoshop...
But I like the idea of this sort of transparency (makes the girl look really ethereal), as if the image appears through a shroud. very lirycal, very November-ish...
Have a good day!

Hello!
This is great image for this time of year when the ghosts and stories about them become even more alive and interesting as usually.
I like how you put together two images; of a statue and of a building. That girl really looks like a wandering soul. Great graphical effect!!! And a little bit creepy as well.
Good usage of B/W in this case; makes photo darker.
Best regards, Tara

Hi Stasa,
looks very fragile and sensitive, and it´s a great contribution to these days when we remember our ancestors.
the vertical image formation is also fitting to the theme very well.
cheers chris

An intereresting idea and a nice result, very dreamy and delicate. I think I would prefer it not so centered. There is a bit too much of that grey around for my taste, you could crop on the right side for example, only a suggestion.
TFS, Regards
Michèle
