Photographer’s Note
We make war that we may live in peace. (Aristotle)
This monument is constructed by disassembled weapons used in WW II. It is dedicated to all who gave their lives for the next generations to live in peace and it stands there as a reminder that something like that must never happen again.
But...the question is:'Was it worth it?'
The main purpose of history is to teach us to understand the past, so we will know how to live in the future. I don't think we have learned our lesson yet.

Živ Staša,
Ni bilo vredno, pa je vseeno prišlo. Pa še kdaj bo prišlo, pa nič za to, nas mogoče ne bo več. :)
V redu kompozicija in barve ter spremljevalna nota.
Pozdrav.

Good composition, the vertical lines are well framed with the branch surounding them. I like the gothic look of the monument.

Interesting monument and quite fascinating photographer's note as well.
Great composition, nice colours and kind of 'dark' look of the monument among the trees. Like it doesn't belong among the world of living.
