Logarska valley (Logarska Dolina)

The name of this small chapel is Chapell of Christ the king.

Logarska dolina was proclaimed as the second nature park in Slovenia in 1987. The valley was shaped by the glacier in the last ice age. The valley is 7 km long and 250 m wide in average (up to 500 m). Logarska dolina is divided by three names: lower part (Log), middle part (Plest) and the upper part (Kot). It is surrunded by the mountains with the height over 2000 m: Kroficka (2083), Ojstrica (2350), Turska gora (2251), Rinke, Mrzla gora (2203)... Logarska dolina is so an excellent starting point to the mountains. Hikers and families can enjoy with the trips to the many waterfalls as Rinka, Palenk and Rastocki slap are. It maid be suprising but there are 20 waterfalls in this valley! However there is a home for some people who are prepared to share the beauties of this place with you.

This picture is made from driving car and in that condition adn becouse of that it is not so sharp.
