Photographer’s Note

I was going through my photo collecion today, when I noticed this particular image. At first I didn't pay much attention to it. I said to myself: *Well, another borning image.*

But then my heart spoke to me: *You can make it more interesting, because this house, this typical Pomurje house (pomurska hiša), deserves to be shown to the world. It is part of your national heritage, so be proud of it.*

And I decided to show it to you. I have used sepia and photo filter to give this image antique look...to make it look like one of those photos you find on a dusty attic in some box, long lost and forgotten...and then with your touch and your look you bring them back to life.

And remember...time flies - TEMPUS FUGIT. So cherish the past, learn from the past and be prepared for the future.

interesting rural architecture. nice to see it. it reminds me some rural houses seen in Poland.

certo che devi mostrarlo al mondo il vostro patrimonio nazionale, la casa è bellissima, e tra l'altro tu hai lavorato la foto in maniera stupenda.
Molto bello l'effetto antico ed il viraggio seppia.

and you did well - this is an interesting type of house that for instance I couldn't possibly know with my Italian upbringing...
I like the way you made the photo "older" - scratches and all...
I am "revisiting" a lot of my pictures these days - it's good for our learning curve!
