Photographer’s Note

Last Monday, I was in the Maribor, the second-large city in Eslovenia.

This week, starts a very nice party will be during 40 days. I was enjoying the delicious local food.

This is and historic bridge in red tones. In the WS you can a view of the place where the people take a walk, eat and enjoy the live music.

Maribor is a city in Slovenia and the seat of the Maribor urban municipality. With a population of 108,000 as of 2002, it is the second-largest city in the country. Maribor lies on the river Drava at the meeting point of the Pohorje mountain, the Drava Valley, the Drava Plain, and the Kozjak and Slovenske gorice hill ranges. It is the center of the Slovenian region of Lower Styria and its largest city. The nearest larger urban center is Graz in Austria which is about 50 km (30 miles) away. Maribor's coat of arms features a white pigeon flying downwards above a white castle with two towers and a portcullis on a red shield. From Wikipedia

This photo gives a very nice impresson of this place. Good inclusion of the bushes in the foreground to emphasises the river as a kind of lead-in to the background. The red bridge and houses look very nice in this pleasant sunlight. Well captured and thanks for sharing!

apesar do título se referir ao rio e a cidade, o que mais gostei nessa imagem foi a ponte mesmo, de forma e arquitetura bem interessantes, nunca vi dessas por aqui no Brasil. As cores de sua foto ficaram ótimas também.

The red architecture in that sunny light produces great colors. The pov is ok and the bridge in the diagonal makes it ok. A good view on the city.

Belle vue sur le pont rouge ( rare de voir un pont de cette couleur!!) ou s"ajoute les toits rouges des bâtiments, j'aime aussi le WS ou il doit être agréable de prendre son repas le longf de l'eau

Todas as pontes deveriam ser vermelhas! Como a Golden Gate, aqui também o vermelho é atraente e nos enche os olhos. Bonito ver também o vermelho dos telhados desta que me parece ser uma linda cidade. Ótima foto, Aires!

Mais um rio e uma ponte, só falta uma igreja. :D
É uma bela perspectiva,muito bem enquadrada e com cores óptimas, o vermelho da ponte e dos telhados faz um belo contraste com o azul do céu, a água e a vegetação.

Un puente de color rojo que contrasta muy bien con los techos de los edificios de la ciudad, la presencia de los arbustos en primer plano le dan una buena perspectiva y al mismo tiempo un marco natural. La verdad que busco el cable que menciona Oscar y no lo veo. Muy buena fotografía.
