Colours of the waterfall Photo

Photographer’s Note

There's a beautiful waterfall in the centre of Lúčky, in a park. This small town is famous for its spa. The photo was also taken during the bike trip (see my previous photos).
I would be pleased if you told me your opinions about the photo!

Lúčky is a village and municipality in Ružomberok District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1287.
The municipality lies at an altitude of 598 metres and covers an area of 21.847km². It has a population of about 1725 people.

Hi Marton!

I like your picture very much. The composition is fine, although the falls are a bit centered. But the nice foreground with the marvellous colors leads into the picture. The whole atmosphere it generates is wonderful, the scenery has something magic. I just would suggest to attenuate the bright tones a bit.

Hi Marton, Paradise lost what a beautiful area, the cascading falls & the turquoise lagoon, surrounded by wonderful nature, you have captured the scene beautifully, excellent light & I envy you, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

I would really like to swim in this lake.
Did you do it?
The photo is nice too.
The colors are great, the ratios of the lake the waterfall and the mountain are fine, but i am not sure if i like the green and gray color of the frame.( Perhaps a color that make a contrast with the landscape would be better)

a tròpusi szìnbol ìtèlve elso pillantàsra, ùgy tunik mintha nem is itt a kornyèken kèszìtetted volna. Csodàlatos kèp, kitunoen komponàlva ès tokèletes làtòszogbol. Pancsolni lehet benne?
Bocsi a fogadàsèrt! Szerintem a kovetkezot viszont bìztosan megnyernèd. (:D

When i fist saw it, i thought this was form Plitvice, but it is from Slovakia...
WoW! What a beautiful, refreshing place it is. Photogaphically, you found the perfect POV and settled the waterfall to a nice place in the compo. Colors are just wonderful, and i agree with Korkut about the idae of jumping in. Park is a park. Rules are to be broken >:DD

Hi Marci. A beautiful scene but, in my opinion, if you cropped out the hill to the left of the waterfall and made it a square composition, it would make it stronger. I find the bare earth on that hill a bit bright and distracting. I might be being picky - but I know you appreciate honest opinion. Overall, though, an excellent image. Kind regards, Paul.
