Against fire Photo

Photographer’s Note

We were staying in a campsite in Podlesok. We saw the helicopters moving around the area with ballons, there must have been a fire somewhere, but we didn't see anything. They continoued working on the next day. We presumed that they were landing not very far from the campsite in 5-10 minutes periods, so I decided to look up what was happening. We were right, there were several fire engines on a nearby field, they were delivering water into a not very big pool. The helicopters moved close to the pool and took water into the ballons. You can see that moment in the photo! I think it's not a daily life scene and I was very lucky to see that from quite a short distance, so I decided to show you this photo!

I would be pleased if you told me your opinions about the photo!

Hi Marci mio,
Quite sharp for the moment freezing, and i like the idea of excluding the sky completely. Therefore you created a green/yellow layered background that results very nice. The fire engine and the heli give life to the photo and red works quite well.
Maybe some lower exposure could help here, if you took the photo with 1/500 instead of 1/125. Thus, you could obtain some more saturated colors, and the top part would not look that overexposed. Just an idea for sure...

Érdekes a fotó egy igazi hirtelen elkapott éles-helyzet-ről. Ez a riport, vagy sajtófotó kategória ezért gondolom, hogy ehhez nem illik semmilyen keretezés. Jó hogy lehetőséged volt megtapasztalni, hogy milyen nehéz érdekesen lekapni egy ilyen pillanatot.

Ügyes képriportot hoztál össze egy közelről ritkán látott akcióról. Ahogy olvasom, esős időt fogtál ki, ehhez képest igazán remek színeket mentettél ki.

na ez nem semmi, hogy abbòl a piszlicsàrè kis improvizàlt medencèbol vettèk fel a vìzet. Làttam amikor a tengerbol toltottek, de ott nem volt problèma a rendelkezèsre àllò hellyel, ugyebàr.
A kèp kompozìciòja kituno, hiszen minden benne van ami kell. A szitakotot pedig tokèletes exponàlàssal sikerult elcsìpned.
Fantasztikus riport, mehetne egyenesen valamelyik szlovàk napilapba.

Hi Marton, A dramatic photo with the helicopter hovering as it takes in the water, I agree a daily life photo it is not, its a wonderful shot for your portfolio, you have captured the movement in the blades perfectly, TFS & a great note, kind regards Wilson.
