Bratislava at night Photo

Photographer’s Note

In April started a mobile operator in Slovakia huge advertising campagne, as part of it let it change the color of Bratislava Castle at night.
Bratislava Castle is a landmark of this city upon Danube.
Ferdinand II and Ferdinand III, the rulers during the 17th century, gave the castle its characteristic form and silhouette. Besides the little adjustment they make to the castle, all tracts were covered by on roof, and at all four corners similar towers were added. These two rulers were the ones that gave the castle its structure that has not been changed to this day.

Hi Miroslav,
Ah ah, another 350D, looking at the date I'd say you've been lucky to get one so early, here they did not even have one for demonstration at this time !
The blue coloring of the castle is amazing and works best optically, the quality of your night shot is fine, just you could maybe have searched for a more elaborate composition is trying to off center the castle. Just an idea though, I really enjoy this symphony of colors.

This is a lovely shot! I especially love the colours and also the wonderful reflections in the water. Superb composition and exposure!
I've been to this castle once, but only when I was 3 years old, so I don't remember it. Apparently it was being renovated at that time, so I couldn't go inside :(
