Photographer’s Note
Located app 25 kms to the west from Trnava, the castle was built in the 13th century. It became known under various names: Rothenstein - German name, Vöröskő - Hungarian or as the Bobrí hrad (Bibersburg - DE). Most significiant re-buildings of the castle were done in 16th and 19th century.
Currently, it is open for public and the castle surrounding offers a nice chill out place.
