Photographer’s Note
Trnava is a city in western Slovakia, around 50 km from the capital Bratislava. Because it has so many churches within its town walls, it is also called Little Rome or Slovak Rome. And believe me...this relatively small city truly has a lot of churches.
I have spent two days just walking around the city, exploring it, trying to find some less crowded streets to enjoy some time alone (the best time to walk through the city center is about 8-9 in the morning) and just by doing that I have seen some really amazing sights.
One of them is captured on this photo. It is an image of Jesus above the rear entrance to Church of Senior Apostle St. Jacob. I found it so interesting because of all the amount of red colour that is embracing the picture of the Christ.

Hi Stasa, thanks for posting a photo from my hometown. I knew it´s location immediately after spotting a thumbnail of this photo. The photo is perfectly straight, no tilt visible, which is sometimes pretty uneasy to achieve at a long zoom. Details in the center are perfectly sharp, but it seems that the image gets softer to the edges.
The colors are naturally intense, the composition is rather static. But I know, it´s not so easy to create a inventive look on a detail of architecture, when you want to preserve a documentary aspect of your photo.
Once again TFS, and you are welcome to stop by in Trnava on your next journey to Slovakia.
Best regards,
Adrian
PS: Can you tell, what did you do in Trnava? (just being curious..:-))

Hi!
Interesting choice of theme, but I like it, because it is a little bit unusual. It is nicely composed (picture of Jesus in the middle and around him this red frame) and the colours are very intense.
Maybe you shoud have tried to capture the whole entrance as well, because it would be interesting to see what is below the picture.
Best regards, Tara
